Team Integra was formed in 2005 as a vehicle to support businesses and organisations continuously improve through the support of a network of experts. Since 2005 we have worked with many organisations and businesses both small and large across many territories. One of the original team and current principal is Ed Clements.
Team Integra has supported successful operational projects in many sectors including Automotive, Aerospace, Biotech, Chemical, Construction, Engineering, Food, FMCG, Materials and Pharma. We have also supported many successful Service projects in Accountancy, Forensic Science, Further Education, Software Development and Recruitment.
The Principle at Team Integra is Ed Clements. For Ed a lean and kaizen focussed Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) in 1992 led to a long and varied consulting and improvement career.
Prior to forming Team Integra Ed was a Lead Practitioner at the Manufacturing Institute supporting the delivery of MAS (Manufacturing Advisory Service). He was responsible for leading a team of 10 practitioners working with medium and large manufacturing companies and was the Product manager for The Manufacturing Institute’s major ‘HOW2’ education programmes.
Passionate about Kaizen and equipping people for real change in 1998 Ed joined the World-renowned improvement consultancy Kaizen® Institute . Here Ed worked across Europe in many companies and workflows.
Ed learnt about Lean Principles at a first-tier Automotive supplier in the 1990’s as Kaizen Manager, during which time the company won General Motors Supplier of the year award for 6 years running. As Kaizen Manager he worked closely with the Supplier Development teams of all the Japanese implants.
After gaining a BEng (Hons) degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Management from Nottingham University he went on, in 1996, to receive an MPhil for a lean-based research project built on the findings from the original Knowledge Transfer Partnership.
